~♥~ Growums Reviews and Giveaway ~♥~

I'm a mom turning green, its a slow but progressive start. I was thinking to myself, How could I get the children involved in going green? Since my children are small, I wanted to start off with something easy, and what better way to start them off on the road to going green, by growing a garden. Its fun, it teaches them responsibility along with learning science in the process and they can have fun with their veggies! :). I was introduced to Growums, a fun way to teach your child(ren)(and yes adults too) the fun of growing their own garden.

Growums has 6 different Growums Garden Kits. I got to review the Salad Garden Kit. I was surprised when the kit came in such a small package, and was very excited to open it. My kit contained, 8 coco pellets, 8 tags, and 4 different seeds. (lettuce (Roman), carrots(Carin), cucumbers (Duke the Cuke), and tomato's(Tomicio). I thought it was so neat that you can log onto Growums, and register your garden. They tell you how to start your kit, shows you videos and follow-up videos. They also have 3 fun games to play, Bag a Bug, Weedys Revenge, and Growums so you think you can grow?.

My 2 year old was ecstatic and wanted to help right away. She had fun pouring the water and watching her pellets expand. With Mommy's help we planted the seeds in each pellet, and then she tagged them all by her self. The great Thing about Growums, you can plant them in your garden or in pots on your patio. We chose to plant ours on the patio, since its easier for the girls to get to their garden, and they will be able to see them, right when they walk out the door.

Growums has a great Fundraising Program for schools and organizations.

♥~ How Growums Helps Your Cause ~♥

As a fundraiser, Growums is a wonderful opportunity for your organization. Each Growums garden kit is sold for $10. For every kit sold, your organization receives a generous portion. In addition, a portion will be donated to help feed needy children. A good goal for your group might be for each child to sell at least 15 kits.
