Kimochis Cat Review and Giveaway!

Teaching Children emotions is very important, it increases their happiness and the way they can communicate. When Children can effectively communicate feelings, they build confidence, self esteem, strong relationships and the foundations for academic success and social and emotional intelligence. Sometimes it can get difficult to teach younger children emotions, but with Kimochis, it doesn't have to be!

Kimochis is a website that sells toys with feelings inside, and their main focus is to strengthen parent-child connections and building self esteem, confidence and emotional intelligence in children. They offer different 13 inch plush toys, including Cat, Cloud, Lovey Dovey, Huggtopus, Bella Rose, Clover and Bug and 6 inch minis with the same characters. You can also purchase extra feeling packs to learn different feelings and express each emotion. 

I recently had the opportunity to team up with Kimochis, and I have to say, these toys are genius! I received Kimochis Cat and a Feeling Pack.

Kimochis the Cat is an 11 inch plush and comes with three feelings (faces), Happy, Kind, and Cranky and a 48 page feel guide. He features a pouch in the front to store the feeling inside and he also has some plastic pellets in his rump for added weight to support him while sitting in the upright position.. 

Cat is a decisive leader and can be very persuasive. Her bossiness can sometimes lead to confrontation and an occasional "cat fight." Cat comes with five bandages to help heal hurt feelings and three feelings: Happy Curious and Cranky. - Kimochis Website.


The Feelings Pack comes in 4 different packs, and has 6 feelings in each pack. I received Feelings Pack #2 and it included: Uncomfortable, Curious, Sorry, Hurt, Friendly, and a blank one, to make your own feeling. Each feeling is a 3 inch pillow that has a feeling printed on one side and the corresponding face expression on the other. These feelings are great to teach children about their feelings and how to manage them.


My girls really enjoyed learning the new feelings and incorporating them in everything they do. Although they do know some of the feelings, they didn't know all of them, which was a great way to teach them their meaning and the way to use their emotion in their everyday life. I am really surprised at how well they are showing and learning these emotions, and I give it all to Kimochis!!

Over all these are a great way to teach your children or a loved one about all different kind of emotions! I would totally recommend Kimochis, as my children did awesome with these inspirational toys!
