My Thoughts:  
I love a really great family orenated film and this by far is one of those kind of movies! As a young child I have always been fond of Snow White, and now that I am older, I still love this fairy tale. Mirror Mirror is perfect for teens and adults to still enjoy the story tale of Snow White! My Favorite part is when the evil Queen puts a puppy love spell on the prince and the seven dwarfs and Snow White has to find a way to break the spell!

Over all this is an awesome movie and is a wonderful collection to add to your Family Movie Night Collection!

Beba Bean Nuzzle Throw Review

Are you having a baby or know someone who is? I found the cutest baby store that carries a vast selection of baby items great for your new baby, let me introduce you to BebaBean.com. Recently, I had the opportunity to team up with the nice folks over at Beba Bean and review one of their Nuzzle Throw Baby Blanket. The Nuzzle Throw Blanket is a blanket that a baby could nuzzle up to all year long, cuddle up too and lounge on. One side is made of Lush Faux Fur and the other side is a super soft Velour. It measures 36" X 36". It's machine washable, and can be tumble dried on low.

I really love the feel of this blanket, its so soft and comfortable. My brother just had a son a couple weeks ago, so I thought that my nephew would enjoy this blanket more than my girls. Then I started thinking, that the fur may not be such a good idea for a baby, because the grab and pull things towards their mouth. So I did the pinch and pull test, I pinched the fur and pulled, and to my surprise the fur didn't come out, it's really secured in the blanket, making this a great blanket for a small new born or infant! After checking in with my brother he said that his son just loves the blanket and does just what the blanket is called, nuzzles into it and lay there.

Babies need the best, and I feel that Beba Bean offers high quality products suited just for babies needs!! I would totally recommend this blanket to other parents or even as a shower gift!!

Dog Days Of Summer Campaign

This post is brought to you as a part of the Dog Days of Summer Campaign, hosted by the folks at dog training collars. From vacations to pool parties, there are plenty of opportunities to spend quality time with your furry friend this summer!

My dog Duke, is just like my big ole' kid, and just like the rest of my kids, I want the best for him and to keep him super healthy! I would love to share with you some of my tips to keeping your furry little friend happy and healthy during this summer!!

Exercise:
Having a dog exercise is very important to his health and well being. Active dogs can reduce a lot of different illnesses and keep them fit, in shape and healthy. There is different things you can do with your dog to keep him active such as going for a walk daily, running, playing fetch, 

Vet Visits:
It's very important to take you dog to vet visits to maintain a healthy and happy pet, and it's best to take them yearly for different types of tests including heart worms, parasites, and other illnesses.

Vaccinations:
Just like a child, pets need vaccinations also, to help prevent certain diseases and illnesses, keeping your perky pup healthy! There is different ways to vaccinate your furry friend, you can A: take them to the vet for their vaccinations or B: do it at home, either way, it will keep your pet healthy and illness free.  

Heart Worm Prevention:
Mosquitos normally come out in summer months, so protecting your beloved pet from heart worms is very crucial. An infected mosquito can cause a dog to get heart worms,  it's easier preventing heart worms than having to treat heart worms and cost much less. There's a monthly medication out that helps prevent heart worms and can ask your local vet for more details.

Nutritional Vitamins:
Giving your pet the right amount of nutrition is essential to maintain a healthy pet. There is different ways to give nutritional vitamins like in food, shots, oral medication. I personally like to give our puppy the pill form and have it wrapped in a delicious dog treat.

Grooming:
Grooming is a very important step in maintaining a healthy pet. Grooming consist of different things like keeping their nails clipped, Hair cleaned and brushed, ears cleaned, gum care and keeping them free of bugs.

*Nails Clipped- Its very important to keep their nails clipped, you can purchase different pet nail cutters or take them to your local groomer and they can clip their nails. This step is very important, because when their nail grows to long, it can break below the quick, causing your dog a lot of pain or cause other health related issues.

*Hair Cleaned and Brushed- Giving your pet a bath can lead to a happy pet, although some dogs run from the word bath, only because they are uncomfortable with the water in their face, they make pet sprayers that help calm a dog down giving them a relaxing bath. Brushing your pets hair is also important, Your pets hair sheds, specially in the summer months getting it ready to grow their winter coat,  by brushing your pets hair, you can easily remove the access lingering hairs. This may not cause problems for your pet, but could for your family who has allergies. You can find pet shampoos and brushes at your local dog/pet stores.

*Ear cleaning- Keeping your dogs ears cleaned is very important, it helps reduce bacterias, viruses, yeast and many parasites. Doing this weekly will help prevent many potential ear problems before they start and will save you time and money. You can find ear cleaning kits at your local dog/pet stores.

*Gum care- Gum care is very important to help keep their gums and teeth healthy. Some people don't realize how important this step is, dogs can get gingivitis just like people, this can cause your dog to have horrible breath. Cleaning your dogs teeth isn't an easy task, but there's treats that can help reduce gum disease and take care of bad breath or you can take them to the vet to have their teeth professional cleaned. 

*Bug Free- Keeping your furry friend free of bugs will keep him happy, his skin healthy and disease free. Fleas and ticks can carry harmful diseases and transmit them to your pet, this includes tapeworms (fleas) and lyme disease (ticks). Shampooing can dramatically reduce fleas and ticks, but wont kill them all. Applying a flea and tick free collar, spot-on treatments, oral medications or powder will help keep them free of bugs.

Old Navy Swim Suits

 


With Summer here, what better way to kick it off, but with Old Navy, Swimwear!! Recently, I was picked on Crowdtap to Sample and Share an Old Navy Bathing Suit. I was super excited to go shopping at Old Navy for a bathing suit and what perfect timing too, since my family and I are planing a family vacation to Vero Beach. I decided to take my mom and my two girls (ages 2 and 3) and have a Mother and Daughter and Daughter day, BOY was that the biggest mistake lol!! Our closest Old Navy store is 2 hours away, which wasn't that bad for the girls since they watched their little DVD players on the way there. But time we got there it was 30 minutes till close and our coupon expired that day, on top of that, my girls been couped in the car for two hours....needless to stay....my girls got into the store and acted like wild pack of Tasmanian devils!! Twirling through the store like tornado's...You get the picture right??!! They were on their best not so human behavior. I am sure the employees was like, YES 30 minutes till close....

Before I actually went and to save some time, I visited OldNavy.com and looked around at all their styles. They have so many styles, colors and prints from Mix and Match Bikini's Tankini's and Full Bathing suits. I fell in love with their Cherry Print String Bikini and their Cherry Print Sandals. So I knew that was what I was going to try on first.  

Upon my adventure in the Old Navy store, I seen so many awesome bathing suits, they were all displayed in a very neat and organized order. I immediately went and looked for the Cherry Bikini, because I knew time was short, but to my surprise, the cherry bikini was previously marked on clearance, so my coupon wouldn't permit the sale. So I continued to look around, then I found a very pretty pink snake skin tankini, but the didn't have my size, they only had small, and extra small. I then found a Cheetah print bikini, and fell in love with it, since i am a huge fan of animal prints, off to the fitting room I went....after rounding up the kids of course...UGH!!! Back to reality! I immediately realized my body just didn't look the same after 7 kids than it did in high school!! ( I of course blamed Old Navy, saying they had fun house mirrors in their dressing room, you know the ones that make you look 500 pounds heavier? lol, just kidding! But just think if they had the opposite ones?? The ones that make you look super skinny? I bet they would sell a million bikini's lol!) So, realizing this, I went to look at the Tankini's, I mean, you know ones that cover ya up a little bit, but still has some sexy to it? I found an all black print tankini and a blue striped tankini, running out of time, I quickly darted to the dressing room. While trying them on, I noticed both were different styles, the black one had a full back, and the blue one had a tie in the back revealing your back. I fell in love with the Blue one!! I thought I could get much needed sun on my back if it was opened, compared to the black one that probably would give me a farmer tan, plus it fit my body beautifully!!

After I found my favorite bathing suit, I journeyed to the Kid's clearance section, and seen all kind of cute girl clothes, plus it was take an additional 30% off the already marked down sale price. I found some really cute yoga type pants for the girls for winter, on sale for $1.99 and I scored them for $1.39, so I grabbed one of each color, in different sizes, 5T and 4T. I mean you can't pass up a brand name pair of pants for $1.39!! I also got the girls both Purple dress with white butterflies that was on sale for $3.29.

Now, back to my Mom, she was looking for a bathing suit that my sister would like, ok, so....you know that saying, let the 80's remain in the 80's? Yeah, well never let your mom pick out a bathing suit lol!!!  With 3 minutes left reamining till the store closed, I rushed over there in the nick of time and saved my sister years of tourment..(Just playing!) I found her a really cute blue and green stripped bikini, and just knew she wold love it, since it contained her favorite color..... green.

Check out was lovely, the cashier was really suburb, asking if we found everything we needed and wished us a great day...I really knew what she was thinking thou....YAYYY they are gone..But she didn't show it :)!

Over all, I really enjoyed shopping at Old Navy, they have a really nice selection of different bathing suits and the price range is very affordable.

McCormick Grill Mates® Grill Ambassadors Party

Recently, I was picked on Crowdtap to do an ultimate McCormick Grill Mates® Grill Ambassadors Party, I couldn't resist, who doesn't love to grill?? Then thinking back, I forgot I didn't have a grill, because when I moved to a different town, I left mine behind. So, searching for the perfect grill was easy, so I thought! I went to an online retailer, and found one I fell in love with, plus it was pretty cheap too (only $15). Of course after receiving it, I found out it was much smaller than what it looked like in the picture and it was a portable camping grill (they forgot to mention that on the site), but you get what you pay for I guess!

For the party, we decided to make everything on the grill, we had Ribs, Burgers, Corn on the cob, Baked Beans, Grilled Potatoes, and Garlic toast.  My sister's boyfriend, decided to take over the grill, since myself never actually grilled on one before (lol). But My sister and I prepped the food, First we rubbed the burgers with McCormick's Molasses Bacon and Spiced Brandy & Herb marinade, then we boiled the ribs tell they were almost ready to fall off the bone, then rubbed the Grill Mates Memphis Pit BBQ rub on them, right before they went on to the grill. After they cooked for a while, my sisters boyfriend added the Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon BBQ sauce the ribs. 

We was going to play a guessing game, in which meat tasted the best, but due to the size of the grill, and time it took to cook, everyone was ready to chow down! Heck, I didn't even get to take a picture of all the food before everyone made their plate!! We all notice how different the meat tasted from using the Grill Mates, and how well it added a lot of flavor to the meats! My taste buds were doing the happy dance, when I first took a bite of the ribs!! And I just loved the burgers too, the Molasses Bacon really added a hint of bacon to the burgers, they were so delish!! We really enjoyed McCormick Grill Mates and will be using all their seasonings at our next cookout and so will my party guest!

We did set up a play station for the kids, they all played water balloon toss and played in the sprinklers, they had so much fun and they really enjoyed the BBQ when it was done also! Shay even said "Mommy, That's was the best food ever! Uncle Tyrone is a good cookoutter". 
  
I didn't really do any major decorating, I spent most of my funds on the food and of course our teeny tiny grill (lol!), But we did have fun spending time with each other and it was a beautiful day!
